Another true poem

Drummond once saw Night drunkenly
Reeling beyond the hills, shunning the Day
Which was blazing into the world. Now,
Five centuries steadier; Night pays his tab,
Walks slowly home, but riots in his dreams --
Picking fights, challenging the Moon,
Sobbing because the Sun doesn’t love him.
